LPGA Q-School Controversy

A golfer waited until the end of the round to notify Tour officials of illegal signalling going on.

Sounds like a surreptitious way of trying to get someone disqualified for signing an incorrect scorecard. The folks involved didn't know it was against the rules. Sure, they SHOULD have, but wouldn't a heads-up AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT been a better solution?

It would be the same 2 stroke penalty regardless of when they were notified. The advice rule has been around as long as these players have played the game. I don't believe they didn't know about the rule.
