The Patriots are certainly going to argue that it's not really a crime to have sex with the person who gives you a massage, especially if the massage person is from Florida. If anything, this accusation just makes AB even more of a Patriot.

Antonio Brown's stepfather claims Patriots WR is 'very abusive to women'
Brown's former stepfather, Larry Moss Jr., spoke out about Brown's legal situation and made it known he isn't surprised with the accusations.

"I can't tell you that he did what they said he did,'' Moss told USA TODAY Sports. "But I know he's very abusive to women.

"As far as just raping somebody, [Brown] just feels like he can have whatever he wants. He's just empowered that way. So it doesn't surprise me that this kind of allegation came out about him.''

Brown (nicknamed Tony by his peers growing up in Miami-Dade County in Florida) was raised by Moss from ages 5 to 17. Moss claims Brown's erratic behavior began all the way back in his childhood years.

"A lot of things that Tony's doing, nothing surprises me,'' Moss said. "I'm surprised that it took them this long to figure him out. Because he's been this way since he's been 12 years old.''

I guess the question is, why did she take so long?
She was raped... yet continued being his trainer for 2 more years

How very "Patriot" of you. Is that the new Belichick way (I know it's the Kraft way)? And unlike the Kavanaugh one, there's no doubt from either of them that there was sex - I think the text messages Brown sent her make that very clear. More like the Cosby rapes, it comes down to if it was consensual. And for the Patriots, that determination basically comes down to how productive he can be on the football field. Right now, with his talent and potential impact, I'm sure the Patriots think there's no way he's guilty. :coffee:

Spoken like a true Pats fan. As for me, I railed against Big Ben sexually assaulting girls in bars and getting away with it because he could throw the ball, I think Andy Reid has a real issue with domestic abusers who also fill talent gaps on teams he coaches. I've never adjusted my thinking based on the team the guy plays for. Why do you?

Her waiting so long is cause for wonder but I have no idea what it feels like to be sexually abused or raped and what it takes to come forward after it happens. She deserves the opportunity to be heard and for the evidence to be considered.

It is crystal clear that Antonio Brown is not a good person ...
There’s More History to Antonio Brown’s History

If I was Tom Brady or anyone else there is no way I would allow this guy anywhere near my family.

I haven't adjusted my thinking either
and why do you assume I have made some "adjustment"

I don't care...
that's why we have a "legal system" so I don't have to care
Just let the chips fall where they fall and I don't need to have an opinion on something I know nothing about

Congratulations on your high moral ground and pre-judgment on the outcome
and if Brown is guilty then he gets what he deserves and should be punished accordingly

In 2016, Nelson Agholor was accused of raping a dancer at the Cheerleaders Gentlemen's Club, a strip club in Philadelphia, while they were in a private room... any thoughts on that..?

Jalen Mills was charged with second degree battery...? How about him..?

Chizzy, is it true that Kraft and Brown finalized the contract at a Florida massage parlor and they both asked the masseuses to "say hello to my little friend"?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I wouldn't doubt it...
I would never argue that Brown as well as Kraft aren't pieces of crap

in fact if you remember correctly
When Kraft was accused I said he would buy his way out because that is American Justice
Billionaires don't suffer consequences in America like the rest of us do

Brown might have enough money to buy his way out of this... who knows

You did say that.

I think Brown is going to regret not agreeing to the $2 million settlement. Accusers are coming out of the woodwork and the bad press is going to cost him more than $2 million.

Agree entirely, he should have paid and none of the current and future media circus happens.

Man, when even the Patriots decide you're damaged good enough to release you then you know you've really hit rock bottom.

Bill had to go through the press gauntlet today and probably couldn't stand it...
Leaves the presser and releases Brown 30 minutes later

I thought the same thing. Bill doesn't like distractions.

Agree, and if there is anything to these allegations, he will be homeless in 5 years.

Looks like he is out of the NFL.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-nfl- ... SKBN1W70K8
Days after he was released by the New England Patriots in the wake of a rape allegation, star wide receiver Antonio Brown said on Sunday he was quitting the National Football League.

“Will not be playing in the @NFL anymore these owners can cancel deals do whatever they want at anytime we will see if the @NFLPA hold them accountable sad they can just void guarantees anytime going on 40m 2 months will see if they pay up!” Brown said on Twitter.
