This is bologna. No DH deserves to get in. In fact, the position ought to be scrapped. The entire rule is written wrong. There is NO reason whatsoever for a .300+ pitcher who just got traded to the AL should HAVE to sit just so a .150-hitting shortstop can strike out. If we absolutely HAVE to have this concept, the softball DP would be MUCH better: the DP can be used in place of said light-hitting SS, allowing the pitcher to actually get on base.Grizalltheway wrote:

Biggest Dis was Michael Young not getting enough votes to continue on the ballot more than 1 year. Career .300 hitter, over 200 hits 6 times. Noticed the roid rats moving up on the list a little each year, Clemens and Bonds specifically. Oldie but goodie, Fred McGriff, the Crime Dog, missed on his last chance.,
