That's before they moved to California.AshevilleApp wrote:Trolley Dodgers.Gil Dobie wrote:Cleveland Native American's vs Los Angeles Draft Dodgers
I need to go back and look, but it seems that Toronto's season has been a series of winning and losing streaks, especially in the last half.AshevilleApp wrote:Damn, Cleveland's bullpen works 8 1/3 innings in the win last night. Tough for Toronto to come back now.
Right now, the Jays are looking more and more like the Maple Leafs.CAA Flagship wrote:I need to go back and look, but it seems that Toronto's season has been a series of winning and losing streaks, especially in the last half.AshevilleApp wrote:Damn, Cleveland's bullpen works 8 1/3 innings in the win last night. Edit: They won 6 in a row prior to these first 3 games of the ALCS. Prior to that, they lost 3 in a row. Prior to that, they won 4 out of 5. Early in Sept, they lost 4 in a row. At the end of August, they won 4 in a row. In the beginning of August, they won 4 in a row. In July, they had winning streaks of 6, 3, and 3 games. It's a bit odd. It just depends on when you catch these guys.
When the Nats lost, my interest disappeared too. Are the playoffs still going on?CAA Flagship wrote:Picking up for 89Hen's failure to follow through.

Dodgers and their glam Hollywood fans suck worse.HI54UNI wrote:I hope the Dodgers win so I don't have to listen to all the annoying Cubs bandwagon fans around here.
I'm not sure which is worse; you thinking that or you saying that.89Hen wrote:When the Nats lost, my interest disappeared too. Are the playoffs still going on?CAA Flagship wrote:Picking up for 89Hen's failure to follow through.
Like asking if the Majors still happen in golf if Tiger Woods isn't playing.CAA Flagship wrote:I'm not sure which is worse; you thinking that or you saying that.89Hen wrote: When the Nats lost, my interest disappeared too. Are the playoffs still going on?![]()
FWIW, I watched easily parts of 125 Nats games this year. I'm not sure I've watched a single inning of any other game that didn't involve them.Gil Dobie wrote:Like asking if the Majors still happen in golf if Tiger Woods isn't playing.CAA Flagship wrote: I'm not sure which is worse; you thinking that or you saying that.![]()
I get that. But my brother in law is pushing his mid-70's, grew up in Chicago and has been a Cubs fan all his life. It would be pretty cool for him to experience a World Series win.HI54UNI wrote:I hope the Dodgers win so I don't have to listen to all the annoying Cubs bandwagon fans around here.
I hardly watch any regular season games other than the Mariners, but the postseason is still pretty entertaining, even if you don't have a dog in the fight.89Hen wrote:FWIW, I watched easily parts of 125 Nats games this year. I think it would actually be a lot better had I not had a dog in the fight to begin with. I'm extremely bitter about the Nats losing again. Plus, I'd rather watch hockey, NCAA or NFL.Grizalltheway wrote:I hardly watch any regular season games other than the Mariners, but the postseason is still pretty entertaining, even if you don't have a dog in the fight.89Hen wrote: FWIW, I watched easily parts of 125 Nats games this year. Yeah, thought so too. Amazing how they can even screw up replays (although the NFL routinely gets the calls wrong even after replay as well). Probably wouldn't have impacted the game - the Cubs were already under tons of pressure anyway. Being 0-0 versus 1-0 in the game wasn't going to make much of a difference. Biggest thing would've been the inning staying alive.bluehenbillk wrote:Gonzalez was safe at the plate...just saying.
I totally get that too. i have a good friend that has been a Cub's fan all his life. It would be great for him to see them win. The bandwagon fans are just annoying the hell out of me. Same thing with the Royals fans, Cardinals fans, etc.AshevilleApp wrote:I get that. But my brother in law is pushing his mid-70's, grew up in Chicago and has been a Cubs fan all his life.
