What should it be? No way they make it to the start of the next season with the name Redskins. There is finally somebody who ponied up enough money to start making noise. Radio ads here 15 minutes before pre-game with a very valid point...
On Thursday, the Oneida Indian Nation in upstate New York announced the launch of a radio ad campaign urging the team to change its moniker. The ad begins with an Oneida leader commending NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for condemning the behavior of Eagles player Riley Cooper, after Cooper was recorded using the N-word at a concert this summer. While the narrator applauds the NFL for taking swift action in the Cooper case, he then draws a parallel between that slur and the word "redskin." "We do not deserve to be called redskins," he says in the ad. "We deserve to be treated as what we are — Americans." The spots began airing in the D.C. market on Sunday.
There is supposed to be a protest at the game in Green Bay this week too.
Unless you are a native American, you can't say it's not an offensive term. This one is done. Sorry Andy. So what should the new name be?
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST What has happened to this country? Bunch of PC apologist assholes. Don't say indian, don't say retarded, don't say this or that. Better appease the .01 percent

This is the likely winner. They've been talking about it for months. It appeases negroes and allows them to keep the same fight song with only changing one syllable.
Granted, it's a stupid fucking team name, but if you can appease negroes and keep your fight song. Kind of winning, no?
Ride through the Cherokee Indian Reservation in North Carolina. Between the kitschy rubber tomahawks, the casino, and "authentic" head dresses and coonskin caps these guys will do anything for wampum.

Does he want to be treated like an American or Native American? You can't have both. And while we're on the subject, Native Americans get preferential treatment. Yes, yes I know about the Trail of Tears and the injustice done to their Ancestors but how long do we have to pay for it? Take the Veronica court case. The Supreme Court made it's ruling, however the baby hasn't been turned over and it's all hung up on the Cherokee Nations and the fact that the father, who is 2% Cherokee, didn't like that when he signed away his rights, the baby was given up to a family that wanted her.
