CAA the top I-AA conference for producing OL draft picks the last 4 year period (thats as far back as I looked):

2010: 2nd round, 61st overall, Jets, Vladimir Ducasse, T, Umass: 1st I-AA player taken.

2011: 2nd round, 49th overall, Colts, Ben Ijalana, T, Villanova: 1st I-AA player taken.

2012: 3rd round, 98th overall, Ravens, Gino Gradkowski, G, Delaware: 3rd I-AA player taken, 1st I-AA OL.

2013: 4th round, 116th overall, Cardinals, Earl Watford, G, JMU: 5th I-AA player taken, 2nd I-AA OL.

Not only that, but the CAA the last 4 drafts:
Had an OL drafted before the MAC in 2 of 4 drafts.
Had an OL drafted before the WAC in 2 of 3 drafts.
Had an OL drafted before the MTN West in 3 of 4 drafts.
Had an OL drafted before the C-USA in 3 of 4 drafts.
Had an OL drafted before the Sun Belt in each of the last 4 drafts.

Don't I know it, I've been following them since the mid-1960's. I just feel for anyone that gets sent to an organization where a mediocre season is considered a success. One playoff win since 1957.

Added to the 1st 2 posts. Now among the 13 I-AA conferences, 8 had draft picks and 5 had no draft picks: MVFC, Big South, Patriot, NEC, Pioneer.

Yeah I see it now thought he was a afterthought.I felt others would be taken before him like Keith Pough OLB from Howard,Kejuan Riley SS Alabama St both were highly thought of.Riley made Buchannon list for top defenders!!!!
