Remember when Deion Sanders played in a football game and a baseball playoff game on the same day in two different cities? Danica Patrick is considering doing the same thing next year by racing in the Indy 500 and then flying out to run the Coca-Cola 600.

That may be just a bit ambitious, but I hope she pulls off the daily double with a pair of wins.

She'll be lucky to get a pair of finishes.

86 is a misogynistic pig. Danica has a history of finishing in the top 10 in IRL, has a 4th place finish at Indy, and an IRL win. Lucky to finish? Hardly. She will do VERY well....

Oh, and by the way, lots of male drivers have already done the Indy-Coke 600 double (including 1x IRL champ and 3x NASCAR champ Tony Stewart) none have won both races. Danica won't be the first.

Try NOBODY. Until the last year or so, the races were too close together to travel between the two. Stewart may have raced in both, but not on the same day.

Stewart did it twice, 1999 and 2001. In 2001 Tony finished 6th at Indy and 3rd at Charlotte, both on the lead lap, becoming the first driver to complete all 1,100 miles in one day.

Robby Gordon has done the double several times (7 I think).

John Andretti was the first to do it.
