The French are better finishers than the Penguins!
The Flyers rally from a 3-0 deficit to take game one 4-3 and then rally to tie it up three different times before mashing the pedal at the end to smoke the Pens 8-5 in game two.
Suck it Cindy Crosby!!

Pittsburgh's Fleury is the Brad Lidge of the NHL: one blown save after another!

Interesting the way the matchups may play out in the east. Many people favor the Penguins to win it all, but they don't match up well with the Flyers. The Flyers won the regular season series 4-2 - and one of the Penguins wins was a meaningless game after the playoff seeds were decided. The Penguins might have been better off finishing 6th in the east instead of 4th.
On the other hand, the Flyers haven't beaten the Rangers all year (0-6 I believe). The Flyers have a good chance to win the cup - if someone can knock off the Rangers. Of course the Flyers have to finish off the Pens first, 0-2 is not an insurmountable deficit.

Canucks already in a 2-0 hole heading to LA. Could be headed for another epic choke job.

I didn't watch the last 5 minutes or so, but all the goals prior to that, I'd place the blame more on the piss-poor defensive effort by the rest of the Pens than on Fleury.

I like the Devils & Sharks in the finals, with San Jose finally winning a cup.

Perhaps, but sometimes a goalie has to bail his team out and make a great save. Fleury hasn't done that yet in this series.

I've seen it all...a black guy just scored a goal in an NHL game.
BTW the Pens-Flyers game 3 is outta fucking control. 10 goals thru 2 periods and about 20 fights.

Goal 11 scored 40 seconds into period 3. LOL @ the Pens.

All the Pens have left is goonery; hence the "deliberate injury" penalties being given out. Keep it classy, Pittsburgh.
As a Flyers fan, it's fun after all these decades to say that to another fanbase.

Considering the concussion issues that Crosby has dealt with, the Penguins are the last team that should be resorting to "deliberate injury" penalties. The Pens superstar is more vulnerable than most players and a lot more valuable.

Yup, classless finish by the Pens. I was hoping that Crosby would have dropped gloves on one of those skirmishes.

That fucker Asham should be kicked out of the league for that cheap shot. The city of Titsburgh is a classless hick town.

I've never rooted for somebody to be injured in sports, but I hope somebody give Cindy a concussion Wednesday night and ends his career.

+1
The NHL has to be shaking their heads as the poster boy for their league is going down & flames and playing like a complete pussy as he does it. You can be a superstar, you can be a villian, but it's never OK to just be a pussy.
Ge the brooms out Wednesday boys!!

Asham and Neal had both better be suspended for at least Game 4.

21 Straight playoff appearances and 4 Stanley Cups in the time. What has Vancouver won?

And at least we dragged the conversation away from the dreary Eastern Conference.

Dreary? At least our games are played at a reasonable hour.
BTW, if anyone has watched the Flyers/Pens series and can say dreary with a straight face...

After 15 years, the Forida Panthers finally won their second playoff game EVER.
