As promised on Tuesday, Deadspin released the information regarding Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez and his involvement with a 17 year old girl high school girl. Sanchez met her at a Manhattan nightclub Lavo on New Years Eve, approached her to chat, flirt and get her BlackBerry number. The girl said, "You know I'm 17, right."

Reportedly Sanchez said, "Well, we can still talk. But I can't see you until you're 18" to which she replied that 17 is legal in New York. She also said Sanchez gave her tickets to the Jets-Bills game on January 2nd.

They dined together at Nobu the first week of January and when asked by Deadspin if she "hooked" up with Sanchez, said "Yeah," albeit somewhat reluctantly. She said Sanchez lived on a golf course in New Jersey. When asked if she was sure it's legal in New Jersey for a girl her age to hook up with a 24-year-old man, she said, "It is. It's 16. I checked." She also took pictures of his bedroom which are posted on Deadspin for "proof" she had been there.

She's legal so I don't see the problem here. Good for her and good for him.

just a question... while she is of legal age to consent in both NY and NJ she is still considered a minor, is there an issue with transporting a minor over state lines for sex?

We all knew girls in high school that **** older guys. She was legal, at least it was Sanchez and not Superhornet
