Your choice for match-up of the Conference Championships!
Also who you think will win or you would like to see win.
Packers/Bears is the pick here for me by far.
Packers over Bears, but painfully close and typical of their series.
Steelers over Jets, I think the Jets will let down this week.
Projecting a great match-up in the Super, Packers and Steelers.
Go Pack!

Pack over Bears by 5-7
Steelers over Jets by 2-4.

Ya have to go with the oldest rivalry in football. I mean this is only the second time they have met in some 120 odd meetings? You kidding me? This onewill be one to remember not matter the outcome.

I try to set up a single thread, unlike what usually happens...and it still happens.

Loved your thread Willie, just no poll attached.
(It's at the bottom of your reply, tab says "poll creation")

BREAKING NEWS: More dead birds found in the U.S. !!! In another strange twist of fate it has been reported that the Center for Disease Control is sending a team to Philadelphia and Atlanta as 53 DEAD EAGLES and Falcons turned up this past couple of weeks. Speculation is that the dead birds were subjected to blunt force trauma. The CDC has issued a warning to Illinois as they fear a similar outbreak is looming for Bears in the area over the next 7 days. GO PACKERS!!!!

A sports bar owner in Minnesota is showing his support for the Green Bay Packers in this weekend's game against the Chicago Bears in a very literal way - by roasting a bear.
Blake Montpetit, the co-owner of Tiffany Sports Lounge in St. Paul, says he plans to cook a 180-pound black bear in a pig-roaster over hickory and charcoal on Sunday. He says his cousin shot it in northern Wisconsin during bear hunting season, which runs in September and October, and then froze it.
Montpetit says he planned to serve the meat to customers, but the state health department rejected the plan because the meat is unprocessed. Instead, customers can take photos with the roasting bear.
After the game, the meat will go to his cousin's party in Somerset, Wis.

In a tough rivalry game, the GREEN BAY PACKERS punch the first ticket to the Super Bowl

There was some HORRID play calling in the 2nd half by Green Bay, but a win's a win.
Go Pack Go.

What is the reasoning behind the rule in the NFL that if the 3rd string QB plays prior to the 4th qtr, then neither of the first two can re-enter the game?
Also, Fox annoys the heck out of me with their score graphic.
Evidently they no longer give a shit about people with traditional televisions (with the 4:3 aspect ratio), as I couldn't see most of their score graphic at the top at all.

Poor play calling by the Jets at the goal line in the 2nd half as well. I mean giving the ball to an aging LT on the 1 inch line was laughable. Green should have gotten the carry.

I've had that issue since October, but it my provider apparently figured it out today because I actually saw the whole thing.

Shouldn't have been running it anyway. They would have better luck passing it against the Steelers D line.

They tried to on the play before and it was swatted out of mid air.

so it's a provider thing? good to know.
if I actually cared to any extent about the NFL, I might send off an email to my cable co. to complain about the matter. But I don't, so I just complain on here.

Wedge and Gil, I was thinking about you guys after our win. I've been waiting for this. We need to pull off 1 more win and I'll be as happy as I was in Jan 1997!
I don't know if I've told you guys this but the lady that cleans my teeth was Aaron Rodger's babysitter when he was little. She's still pretty hot too.
