Paul Brown gave up on Cleveland while he was alive.SuperHornet wrote:Look, I get Mayfield wanting out of there, his commercials "living" at the stadium not withstanding. But the Browns' response to that lost all cred. Paul Brown must be rolling over in his grave....
So he's basically a slightly better JJ Arcega-Whiteside? When do we schedule the parade?CAA Flagship wrote: ↑Tue Mar 22, 2022 2:45 am The Eagles just improved in a key area. A guy who works hard, great route runner, and the thing that separates him from most WRs, a great blocker. Not a ton of speed but has decent hands. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Old Dominion's Zach Pascal:
Funny, I had read the same exact article before I posted my Arcega-Whiteside comparison. I think the best quote in the article is:CAA Flagship wrote: ↑Tue Mar 22, 2022 9:33 amThis, IMO, is a good assessment of him.

Unfortunately for Pascal, he simply is not a spectacular athlete. He doesn’t have any physical attributes that truly set him apart and lacks the polish as a route runner to make up for that when charged with significant offensive responsibility.
That is the least accurate statement. He's actually a good route runner. He just doesn't have elite quickness. But what he lacks in quickness, he replaces with physicality. If you don't have one, you have to have the other. If you don't have either, you aren't worth much.GannonFan wrote: ↑Tue Mar 22, 2022 10:02 amFunny, I had read the same exact article before I posted my Arcega-Whiteside comparison. Ganny talks up Eagles (Sixers, etc.) additions like they're they second coming but Flaggy comes in to talk up an ODU player joining the Eagles and Ganny pisses all over his Cheerios.GannonFan wrote: ↑Tue Mar 22, 2022 10:02 amFunny, I had read the same exact article before I posted my Arcega-Whiteside comparison. Link?
Did I say Pascal was a better addition then Harden? The gist of my post was that nearly everything you say about the Eagles (or Sixers) is roses and unicorns but Flaggy comes in with a positive post and you piss all over it. I found it funny.
Well, his first stint was with the Jets, so any head coaching job is automatically better than that. But probably just depends on how long Brady stays around.CAA Flagship wrote: ↑Thu Mar 31, 2022 6:20 am Arians out. Bowles in.

How does this relate to Brady's unretirement? Could Brady have engineered it as requirement of his return?CAA Flagship wrote: ↑Thu Mar 31, 2022 6:20 am Arians out. Bowles in.
