UOP...SMH....

Please don't get me wrong. I went to UOP before I got to Sac. UOP had an outstanding basketball team for most of my tenure there, and for a goodly period of time thereafter. The Tigers have been struggling lately with poor HC choices and scandals since the legendary Bob Thomason retired in the late 2000s (a UOP HoFer as both a player and a coach). This year is no different. Despite being in the tough WCC, they are CLEARLY playing to the level of the competition. For example, this past week, the Tigers beat Fresno State. Unfortunately, they followed THAT up by losing to Hayward State today. Hayward State is D-II. This is embarrassing. SMH....
