I was at last night's UM game.
Grizzly basketball reminds me a lot of Big 10 football. Incredible lock-down D, sometimes too pre-set offensively to the point where situational awareness seems either lacking or irrelevant? Regardless, got a solid road win.
I have to say that it was my first time at the new Viking Pavilion and it is perhaps the nicest facility for fans that I've been to in the Big Sky - and maybe any mid-major.

If you really feel the need to inject your political beliefs into your basketball PBP (which the listeners don't want to hear, BTW),
at least make those comments original and not stuff we've all heard a billion times on the internet/TV before.

I put it in the same category as kneeling, putting BLM ribbons on the field or uniforms or cute little sayings on the back of helmets…..keep the political crap OUT of sports. Normal Americans use sports as an escape from that day to day bullshit we get inundated with.

I would think announcers are different than competitors in this regard.
What about players making religious gestures (praying, pointing at the sky, kneeling), or verbal pronouncements?
This is why we can’t have nice things…

Politics <> religion (I mean, it does for SOME people, so you may have a point
) Honestly, I’m fine with personal gestures (I was fine with Kapernick’s antics) but it’s when the TEAM or the LEAGUE feels a need to take a political stand…that’s what gets annoying and makes me turn it off.

I just don’t care. Even with the announcer. I’m also trying not to care that others care.
I have a feeling I’ll be working on mostly not caring the rest of my days.

Man, what a crappy last 4 minutes tho. BSC refs are just shitty—all the way around. Bad calls. Missed calls. Hell, the guy who got the technical had a good case….he didn’t touch Bannon!

Yeah, you wont get much argument from me. But I'm almost numb to it by now. The refs in this "west coast consortium" have always been bad.

Good to see you last night Ryan!
I don't think the refs changed the outcome of this one, Montana made some bad plays down the stretch and that is what cost us. It was a fun game to watch even with the loss. McEwen being 19/20 from the charity stripe didn't help either.

No and I’m not saying they did. Just don’t see why it’s so difficult….some calls seem SO obvious.

I got ya
There were some bad calls, no doubt. They seemed to even themselves out of the course of this particular game is more what I was trying to say I guess.
