Man. There is a WHOLE lot of mediocrity in this league this year.

Eh, hard to tell given all the cancellations. No telling how all the China Virus bullshit impacted practice, games, varying rosters because of "positive" tests. Hell, this is the first time Sac State is seeing UNC this year. I have no idea what to expect.

Portland State is playing NAU for the first time this season. If they win that, they play EWU whom they haven't played yet this season either.

Doesn’t change the fact there’s a whole lot of mediocrity. :tothehand:

Very fast and high scoring first half. Wonder if either team will decide to tighten up their defense in the 2nd.

Been a good game to start but.........these tournament games really need to go back to host sites.

NoCo beats Sac by 7 in a game without much defense.

Next up, Peery's 40 minutes of pressure. Should make up for the lack of defense in the first game.

That, and the fact that PSU & NAU are the two worst shooting teams in the league.

Fast paced game. Good battles inside but ultimately it was 3 point shooting and rebounding that was the difference.

Used to be a lot more excitement in the tournament and getting #1 actually meant something. The Big Sky is a one bid league and giving the #1 team the best shot is the way to go. I know its more convenient to do it at a predetermined site but The Big Sky killed a lot of the regular season fight for 1st excitement.

Also only so many teams should make the tournament. Maybe top 8. Nothing against Idaho but in no way does that team deserve any post season play.

Well there's one upside for Portland, at least it wasnt Weber taking you out of the tournament again.....

Havent been able to watch most of this one due to work but seems PSU is off and NAU is hot.

I didn't realize NAU was such a good 3-point shooting team.

I don't disagree, but it's time to get over the host sites. It's never coming back.

Did these two play in the regular season? NAU has some athletic size as well. Tough combo, similar to what the Hornets ran into against UNC.
