Lady Viks get a good win, 71-51, over EWU. On to a tough game tomorrow against Idaho State.

NAU up 13 at the half on Weber. Shooting % is basically identical, but NAU has 17 more shot attempts because they're winning turnovers 13-2.

Lumberjacks win by 14. That probably does it for Velaida Harris's tenure in Ogden.

Montana leads Sac by 3 at the half. They were leading by 5-9 for most of the half, but Sac got a few buckets late to make it more interesting.

And Bunky Harkleroad gets to be employed for one more day as last-place Sac State upsets Montana 65-58.

Unfucking real. God its weird being a fan of a mediocre school....this is uncharted territory in my “fandom”...EVERY team is mediocre.

Hornets with the upset over the Lady Griz.

Hornets just out hustled them and wore them into the ground. the LG were gassed by the early 4th quarter. Not sure what was funnier, the meltdown by the homer Griz announcers, or Bunky praying for an extension the entire 4th quarter.

Would winning the whole tournament even give Bunky an extension? :?

Won't happen so won't even entertain that thought. He'd be gone already if not for the China Virus.

Well, Sac could win the whole thing if everyone else gets COVID-ed. I mean, that's about their only shot, but still…

And anyone actually claiming a positive hit at this point in the China Virus narrative is a moron.

That was funny. You would think being that all the schools are represented, you at least don't make your bias known.

Good upset win, Hornets. Keep it rolling. :thumb:

Well, everybody knows Krista Redpath played for the Lady Griz (Jenny Cavnar went to Colorado State). That being said, I've always found her to be harsher on Montana than the other teams in the women's tourneys.

My only comforting thought is that Griz would have gotten rolled....AGAIN....by the ‘scats anyways, so what difference does it make, other than leaving huge question marks about the “interim” coach....

Portland State needs to put together a complete game in order to have any chance of beating Idaho State, something we have been having problems with all year. We'd have three good quarters and one terrible quarter and that would cause us to come out on the short end. We are capable of getting the win over the Bengals, but we need to play a complete game.

Well...16% shooting is not going to win you many games.

Halftime score, ISU 30, Tatiana Streun 12 (no one else can shoot for PSU---oh wait, Jimenez finally made a 3-pointer.)

That first half was utterly putrid, yet typical of how the season went for the Viks.

One game, nothing goes wrong. The next game, nothing goes right.

PSU's women were behind the 8-ball the whole season, so it anyone deserves a pass this year it's them.
