This one put the fear of God in ‘em...they haven’t played us since.....
Still a loss. They haven't played Portland State since 2008 when the Viks beat them in the Kennel. Of course, they were only ranked #7 in the country at that time.
Way too much size for the Hornets to handle, that said it was closer than I thought it would be (13 point game with about 10 to go) given the rebound difference.

This is getting somewhat ridiculous. Seems like it is not us, but it is the other team. EWU cancelled last week, but waited to tell us until we arrived in Cheney. Sac State had the courtesy to text Peery while we were on the way to the airport. You're up, Montana State, or will your kids decide to hang out at the Rockin' R and cancel on us as well.
Viks trying to get a game this weekend. Supposedly DePaul has offered to pay our flight to Chicago and put us up for two nights in order to play them Saturday but we'll see.

Sorry J. Was looking forward to another game. We had to schedule Fresno Pacific due to cancelations, I blame them for giving it to one of our guys.

I know its the pandemic and all. Its just I'm trying to figure this all out. We've played 6 games, with the last one on Dec. 20. We've had 8 games total cancelled, the first three in Seattle was because we didn't have clearance from our governor, but the next 5 was because of positive tests from our opponents, not from us (our COVID protocol states one positive case in the program and we quarantine for two weeks). If the Bobcats cancel on us next week, there is nothing we can do but we may begin to wonder if there is something else going on here.

nwnaz 75-72 PSU; Northwest Nazarene has now won 2 of their last 3 against Big Sky teams
IDA 67-83 SUU; Idalol shot over 50% in their last 3 games and lost all 3 ISU 76-70 NAU; The Bengals win their 5th. straight in Flagstaff

Griz play their best half of basketball all year. Followed immediately by their WORST half. Unbelievable. Good thing they opened up a 27 point lead before they decided to shut it down and start chucking up (and missing) threes for 9+ minutes.
