Griz can’t get a nonconf game to save their lives. They’ve called every team that’s within 800 miles and NONE will play them. UW. Oregon. OSU. Utah. Utah State. Boise State. Colorado. BYU. Gonzaga. And the list goes on of teams avoiding the Griz.

The end? Portland State just wants to start but Oregon's governor won't let them. We will know this morning if we are good to go or not.

Is it COVID? Or is it that the Griz have a scalp reputation? Perhaps a bit of both?

Well, they did pick up a game at UDUb. They actually have a decent non-conference schedule (better than PSU's so far).

I just added it. I saw that score yesterday, but ESPN's wonkily updating scoreboard told me it hadn't started yet or something when I made that post.

In the sports world of COVID, games are getting scheduled, rescheduled, and cancelled so fast it is hard to keep up.

True, but ESPN's had this problem (where the auto-update goes back to an earlier point in the game/day) longer than the pandemic. It only seems to happen with WBB games, though, not men's.

Portland State's women's basketball team in COVID quarantine and have cancelled the next two weeks of games (two games against Northwest University, a road game at Oregon and a home game against Portland). From Andy Jobanek, goviks.com...

https://goviks.com/news/2020/12/1/WBB_20201125.aspx

This does not impact the men's team.

As long as we keep treating every case like a death sentence, this is our new normal. :dunce:

I'm liking the athleticism on the Hornets roster...but it was Idalol so maybe it looked better than it actually is.

Yeah, it could be that this is just "Idaho without Trevon Allen." :?
