The Griz have now lost to SUU twice in a row after not losing to them for nearly 20 years.

Hornets boat race Idalol 73-57. Didn't catch much of it but it sounds like the Hornets dominated most of the game.

SUU has steadily gotten better each year under Todd Simon. Two close losses to them at their place isn't too surprising, especially considering how young the Griz are.

Griz would have been formidable with Gaskin on the floor...his departure left a gaping hole....two true freshmen...one sophomore, and a couple of transfers...NONE of whom played with each other last year....gonna be a while before this team gels.

Similar to us. Woods' departure will hurt and it showed tonight. A lot of transfers and they are not trusting each other. How soon they come together as a team will determine how successful the season will be. Just like other PSU teams, the talent is there but they need to function as a unit. But hey, we just got the OK to practice last week.

I find it REALLY inconsistent that Sac could play hoops while pulling the plug on football. SMH....

No fall FB meant no 2020 season for us. Spring FB is a stupid idea.

I agree. We should have played a fall schedule...and sent our guys to the track team in the spring....

Some tense moments early on, but good that we were playing a lesser division foe. When/if we learn to trust each other, we will be fine. Wazzu will certainly test this now-found "trust".

Well, UGA had 18 TO's of their own, along with a crappy 3-point shooting percentage....that's how you stay in a game until late.

Well, it was 21% in the first half.

Right now, everyone wants to do it themselves (5 assists for the game yesterday). We need to learn how to trust each other.
