Idaho State completely chokes it away in the fourth, so we're going to OT. At least Sobolewski didn't commit a technical to lose it in regulation this time.

Eastern pulls the upset after there was a comedy of errors in the final minute of OT, so we won't get the expected four after all.
In 18 years as EWU's coach, this is the first time Wendy Schuller has won multiple games in the same Big Sky Tournament.
It's also gotta be a gut-wrenching loss for Idaho State. This was supposed to be their year to push for a title, and now they lose both Grandon & Kenyon (as well as Hinrichs).

A rather shocking point total for a team like Idaho against a zone-based opponent.

Portland State upsets Idaho by 16, getting their first win of the season against either Idaho team.
The Splash Sisters will ambivalently finish their careers in the WNIT, just like Natalie Doma & Andrea Lightfoot did in Jon Newlee's final year at ISU.

A very good win for the Lady Viks. This is just another step forward for them, considering where the program was just a short time ago before Kennedy arrived. Ducks and Beavers both will be in the Big Dance. Viks are trying to get there as well, but Friday's game won't be easy regardless of opponent. I'm hoping we aren't done yet.
