…but EWU scored with 3 seconds left after Jessica McDowell-White inbounded it off of Savannah Smith's ass, got the ricochet, and layed it in & got fouled.
So… instead of Savannah Smith being the hero, she's the goat.

PSU 75-59 IDA; Kylie Jimenez gets 22 points and 9 assists for the Viks, who went 19/19 on FTs as a team
The Vandals were previously 10-0 against PSU since rejoining the Big Sky Taylor Pierce went 0/12 from the arc in her final conference game
EWU 59-57 UNC; The Eagles hold NoCo to 30% shooting
Wendy Schuller reaches the title game for the first time in her 18 years as EWU's coach Savannah Smith had a game-high 20 points, but it took 28 shot attempts
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Rumor is that the winner is going to either Eugene or Corvallis first round.
The NCAA should have picked Portland....

That would make sense, especially since the Oregons should be in the 2-4 seed range.
Ducks rumored to be 2 seed, maybe a 3. Beavs heard they are a 3. PSU wins, they could possibly go either place. If EWU wins, they probably are going to Eugene as a 15.

How could they know? Is the committee even meeting yet?

Portland media and sportswriters are never wrong, you know. They know everything about the Pac-12.

Congrats, J!
Both teams have some solid young players. Should could attend again next year.
They do, but they both lose a bit too. PSU loses West, Bolston, and Rielly (are they getting Kiana Brown back, JALMOND?), while Eastern loses Morrow & Sealby.
EWU 59-61 PSU; The Viks closed the game on an 11-2 run after Eastern led for about 3/4 of it
MVP Ashley Bolston had 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists Eastern Washington only got 12 points-in-the-paint Each team was only whistled for 8 fouls Alissa Sealby had 15 points and 4 assists in her final game as an Eagle

Interesting, the Lady Viks are two wins away from hosting the regional, scheduled to play at the Moda Center in Portland next weekend.
This just proves that it's not about how good your conference is, but about how good the top of your conference is. The Big Sky ranked 3 spots higher in the RPI this year than last, but its NCAA team is seeded 5 spots lower.
