P5 bias for the at-larges is still around, even today.
Austin Peay - non-Dayton 16 South
South Dakota State - 12 South
Villanova - 2 South
Holy Cross - Dayton 16 West (Southern U)
Southern U - Dayton 16 West (Holy Cross)
Yale - 12 West
Northern Iowa - 11 West
Chattanooga - 12 East
Stony Brook - 13 East
SFA - 14 East
Weber State - 15 East
Hampton - non-Dayton 16 Midwest
Butler - 9 Midwest
Dayton - 7 Midwest

Even more so, other than Wichita no G5 at large got in. I am not counting Big East and A 10 as they are considered power conferences in hoops. Monmouth, San Diego St., St Mary 's, Valpo, all got screwed for a mediocre Syracuse, Oregon St , Texas Tech and Pitt.

Ugh. All the more that I hate conference tournaments. Everybody except the D-III UAA have them next year.

Holy Cross threw a 1-3-1 zone at Southern and the Jags could not figure it out and they were ice cold from the perimeter !!!!

SFA looked like the much better team. If they can play like that consistently they could make some noise in this tournament.

Always fun beating Shaka. I think UNI is now 2-1 or 3-1 vs Shaka the last few years
