The Ivy League, the last holdout of conference tourneys announced this morning that the Palestra will host the 1st Mens & Womens tourneys (4 teams per) in 2017.

Now they just have to allow postseason football..

I preferred the old system, but, hell... :grizo1:

Agree with you on post-season FB, though.

Does anyone really care about Ivy League athletics beside the participants and their families?

Yeah, I didn't think so.

I generally don't care, but I took the family to the Palestra last year to watch Harvard/Yale and we had a great time. We had seats in the Yale section so we started rooting like we were real Elis. Sadly, we lost, but it was fun. Really took the kids to see the Palestra, and now could do it again. I wouldn't be upset if my kids ended up getting in Princeton. :thumb:

The seats were randomly in the Yale section, it was a when in Rome thing. Besides, the kids were watching "The Gilmore Girls" last year and since Rory went to Yale they sided that way. Besides, we've heard that Harvard alums are foul-language mouth breathers so, you know, there's that. :tothehand:

Nobody's ever called you a douchebag before? I've been called far worse than that, even by clients.

Lighten up, Francis. You take yourself way too seriously around here.

I thought by calling you a "foul-language mouth breather" that I was being funny - seriously, does anyone use that as a putdown? It's like when Potter calls people "garlic eaters", again as a supposed putdown, in "It's a Wonderful Life" - a heck-uva great movie btw. I mean, who, besides you I guess, would take that seriously?

I seriously like garlic.

I don't want to be buds yet - I don't want to miss out on an invitation to the White House to have beers with Biden. Seeing how he never hits the Blue Hen tailgates anymore it might be the only chance to drink with him. :thumb:

All you need to do to spot Biden is show up at the Greenville Joseph Bank store on a Saturday when they're having a sale.
