I don't think Montana will beat NoDak, unfortunately. The F-Hawks are probably the favorite right now. I do agree there's a good chance Sac will upset EWU, but I don't see them beating Idaho. The Vandals didn't have much trouble with Sac in the regular season.
The only far-fetched pick on here is PSU over Weber.

That's "Webe's" or BBQ.

Idaho State "upset" Northern Colorado by 9 in the only first round game that was expected to be close.
Side note: former Lady Griz standout Krista Redpath is apparently doing the color commentary for the women's tournament. I thought she did a really good job for the Lady Griz web streams a few years back.

Lady griz tied at end of 1st 13 all with NAU.

Montana came out sluggish & impatient, but they dominated the fourth quarter to knock off game NAU by 15. Some nice halftime adjustments (backdoor layups) and a hot streak by McCalle Feller proved to be the difference.
Sue Darling falls to 0-8 against the Lady Griz. Also, Robin Selvig clinches his 31st. 20-win season.

Sac beat Suutah by 13 earlier. For some reason, the Hornets had a bit more trouble with SUU than the other bottom feeders this year.

Weber wins big over Portland State to eliminate the last of the riffraff teams and end the first day in Reno. The Wildcats clinch a 20-win year after 8 straight losing seasons in which they never made the Big Sky Tournament.

Watched the UM game yesterday (along with 100 other people at the gym.) The griz look terrible the first 3 quarters. If they were playing any other team in the tourney, they lose big. NAU hung in there, but neither team could hit the side of a barn in the first half. Maybe it will bode well for these first round teams, getting use to the gym and all..

Montana State went up 9 with 2:00 left and was outscored 12-1 the rest of the way. They apparently missed 14 free throws in the second half alone.

I would mention that ISU is the lowest seed to make it to the semis, but that would be kinda silly since the #9-seed didn't even exist before this year.
On the plus side for the Bobcats: they are still guaranteed to play in their first postseason tournament in 13 years.

All we had to do was hit a Fing free throw...I feel sick right now.

North Dakota leads Montana by 2 at halftime, which is vastly superior to the 17-point deficit UM faced in Grand Forks a week ago. Poor shot selection by Montana was offset by double-digit turnovers for the F-Hawks.

Montana came back from a 16-point deficit to take the lead late, but Kayleigh Valley fouled out and UND scored the last 5 points to win it.

So Montana AND MSU are both out of the tournament already?

Yep.
I didn't watch it, but EWU edged out Sac by 3 in a high-scoring affair.

No lead proved to be safe as Weber blew a 9-point lead late in regulation and lost to Idaho in overtime on a buzzer-beater trey.
