10-0 in the CAA, doing it minus 2 starters suspended for 9 games. Could they make some noise in March with a 1st round upset!! Scared the heck out of Ohio St, Notre Dame & Villanova all on the road & all without their best player - Devon Saddler.

Do you guys know what the suspensions are for yet and do you know if it's for more than a month. I originally read it was for at least a month. Either way, good way to develop some depth.

Can't believe you guys came back yesterday. Choke job by CofC, great play be Delaware or both?

Would definitely make some noise with a 1rst round upset loss to Hofstra in the CAA tourney. :o

No question best team in the league, and from what I've seen I won't be surprised with some early round UD victories in the NCAA tourney - al long as you have no further roster issues.

The two reasons being floated out there are either academic or drug test failure, with people leaning towards the latter (insert JMU football jokes here).

Both Threatt & King-Davis are eligible to play the final regular season game at Charleston & will be able to play in the CAA tourney.

Last night's comeback was both (choke/colossal comeback). it has to be to erase a 20-point lead with 8:50 to go. CofC had like 29 TO's in the game & were totally rattled by UD's full-court pressure. CofC missed a bunch of second half FT's as well. Davon Usher was unconscious for UD in the 2nd half - scoring 30 2nd half points - the 42 points scored total were an arena record for a Hen.

After playing 3 games in 5 days they get a week off now before hosting JMU next Wednesday.

Delaware takes the high road and holds their athletes to a standard that's the best part of this story. If they went to UConn they would have been held out for a game at most.

Not sure if they can win one in the NCAA tourney but if they can win out and get a 12-13 seed they will have a better chance. Don't like their chances against a 1 or 2 seed.

Lunardi has had UD as a 13 seed in his Bracketology for a few weeks now.

Extremely slim chance Delaware is a 15 seed (0 chance at a 16 seed) unless they go through very bad losing streak (like losing 4 of last 6) then win the CAA. After yesterday's game, they have an RPI of 68 and are on a 12 game winning streak (including 4 games without the 2 guys on suspension - 1 of those is at the 3rd place Tribe so it was a good win for them without 2 guys). There are always a good number of teams that get in the tourney with a much worse RPIs than this.

The won't get an at-large but as long as they win the tourney and don't lose more than 1 or 2 regular season games, they'll likely be 12 or 13 maybe 14 at worst if they play particularly bad. All that said, rooting for my Tribe to win the CAA.

Really? Did you need a computer to come up with that analysis? Which projected 13 seeds, in any tournament, do you like against a 1 or 2 seed?

Delaware takes the high road.

Gannon Fan can't seem to get it done.

UD got trounced.

We were down two starters due to suspensions, but we don't match up well with big teams. You simply can't expect a guard oriented team to shoot well every game, so we get exposed for what we are if we can't shoot.

Also, the CAA is pretty weak this year (which has made us look better than we are), so we just lost any slim chance of an at large NCAA birth.

CAA championship has really been the only way we go dancing, so we still have a chance if we get hot, but we clearly aren't the best team in our conference.

God damn it, Smug U. I just discover we have a men's basketball team, just a few years after I discovered we have a women's basketball team, and you come in here and say it's no good.

I was all ready to get tickets to a game, but not now.

I have a feeling W&M left everything on the floor yesterday. UD is on all cylinders right now, give the points, Monte is going to the dance. There's a phrase I thought I'd never say.

UD has to be the favorite but it's tough to beat a team 3 times, just ask Towson.

Big question for me is how Delaware's legs will be today. They have 4 guys who have played 73+ minutes over the past 2 days and only had 2 other guys who played more than 20 minutes total in the 2 games. For the Tribe, Thornton played 71 and Gaillard played 60 minutes for the guys with the most minutes on the Tribe while 6 other guys played between 31 and 57 minutes in the 2 games.

If the game is close in the end, the fresher legs may help the Tribe.
