Passed away suddenly while preparing for his first season on staff at UOP. Lured away from Long Beach State this past summer, and coached at Loyola Marymount before that. Played two years at Sac State in the late '80s....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
