Would it be fair to say that most all football teams are being affected (or have been, or probably will be at some point) by the flu bug this season to some extent?

Or is that more of a local thing.

IT HIT ME last weekend and it was NOT FUN. Bad bad body aches, temperatures in the 100s, headaches, and the chills. Luckily I am 100% better now and I did not have the swine flu.

However this thing is REALLY bad in Northeast Ohio.

This flu season is already headed for uncharted territory.

Here's CDC's graph of flu incidence in the US. This year is already higher in the first week of October than it was in the heart of the 2007-08 season at its February peak. Keep in mind that the reason the triangles turn to a final dot on the graph is that the last reported week was the first of fiscal year 2010 (week 40 of the calendar year):

News report last night said the flu bug was running rampant on college campuses now that everyone is back from fall break. Luckily the Bucs have avoided it so far.

I havne't been on campus since Monday, down with the flu, so I don't know how bad it is at UNI. I know last week most of my classes had half the class out with it.
