Other FCS connections: My younger sister goes to JMU.

This picture was taken at the JMU Convocation Center. While known for smokin' hot girls, JMU's also known as STD central in our state (well, them and Radford), so we had to protect ourselves.

Well Smudge, until one of you Chlamydia riddled ODU freaks can actually prove your statement, enjoy that burning feeling knowing that you go to an inferior academic institute where more that 70% of your incoming freshman population had a high school GPA lower than a 3.5.... 70% of JMU freshman come out of high school with a GPA over 3.5 with only 2% below a 3.0 (guess how many ODU has below a 3.0). Maybe you could use your powers of deductive reasoning and grab your sister as proof of your STD case, but my guess is you and her probably picked up the itch back at Langley/McLean.... ah, but I'm not going to drag your sister into this, she's the smart one who's at JMU, probably clean and uses protection. :thumb:

These stats may hard for you to find with your diminished capacity, so you may want to use the buddy system and team up with a group of your ODU friends. Chances are that if there ten of you together, you may actually have the mental capacity of a normal functioning human being. Ya NoVA douchebag.

JMU DJ, I didn't say I believed the stat. Like you said ODU is "known" as an inferior academic school, even though we turn out some of the best engineers in the state. JMU is "known" as an STD school, even though I've never seen proof of that. VCU is "known" as that crappy emo art school, even though they turn out some of the best pre-med/nursing students. Come on man, how many times do you think I've seen an "Old Dumbass University" at the Ted (tip: the Ted staff doesn't like posters with "dumbass" in it)? We gotta work with the stereotypes we have. Gotta be a bit creative sometimes. That's why I love the CAA and our in-state VA rivalries! Can't wait til we meet in football! :)

Ditto, just had to get my digs back. Can't let that shit fly without some repercussions.

I was serious about the NoVA stuff though, McLean can burn in hell :ugeek:

Dude, I actually agree with you. McLean sucks. I'm not rich, so you think growin' up around a bunch of wealthy snobs who literally think they're the east coast version of what they see on the OC was fun? Dude, I saw students who got Range Rovers, Corvettes, RX-8's, Mustangs, G35s, BMWs, and a Hummer H1 for their 16th birthdays, when I never had a car in HS!!! Hell, we had one kid who drove his dad's Ferrari to McLean! What kind of effin parent allows that? Spoiled brats, all of them. And to think Langley was even worse :ohno:...

A lot of those kids end up at JMU... my whole freshman year I had to hear about how great Oakton, Langley and McClain were. I ended up living with two kids from Langley and met all their JMU Langley buddies... shit, I was even a groomsman at one of their weddings. Bunch of Dbags those kids are

I played lacross against alot of Langley and Oakton fucks (I don't think McLean had a lacrosse team then). They even had the best equipment!! We still pummeled them though.

Douchebags they are. So it's a wealthy area...wanna sticker? I really don't mind their lifestyle, it's the only one most of them have ever known. I just find the constant braggin' REALLY annoyin'. Haha, I remember when community service became a fad at McLean among the popular kids for like two months. Didn't hear the end of how awesome those people were, and how I should be doing the same...then they got bored of that went and on to something new lol. Complete joke...

And yes, Langley/McLean are AWEFUL at sports across the board. It's funny too, 'cause we would get so many recruitin' scouts from all over the place to see these shitty athletes...because they were paid by the parents for their time . Hey, not a bad deal for the scouts though!

BTW, I don't think we could've hijacked a thread better than we have .

Langley always had a good men's lacrosse team...just about every year it came down to Langley, Oakton (more recently than in the past), Robinson and Woodson :ugeek:

Not really, because you see, it's called "Meet your fellow cs'ers." So they are learning that every CSer in VA, even the ones from McLean, hate McLean.

I've also learned that you aren't scholastically retarded, though you're school is.... Unless you're one of those worthless Journalism majors, then resistance to mediocrity is futile. ;)

Haha, funny you say that. I got a full ride to go to VCU for journalism (well, anything in the English department or something like that). Paid my deposit 'cause the packet (and the money) looked really nice at the time. My parents and I visited VCU afterwards and we quickly bolted out of there after touring. My mom was terrified for me lol and my dad was creeped out by the kids in our tour group (you know, the artsy/hippie types). I too was not impressed. I kinda regret it now though. My dad runs his own home remodeling business and at the time, things were goin' well. You can imagine how things are now, so he wants me to transfer to GMU. Problem is I'd probably end up spending an extra year of school because not all the credits are gonna transfer (plus I'd have to change to a different major), but it's still cheaper because I wouldn't need housing or a meal plan. So it's all up in the air right now. I've supported ODU for 2+ years now, but you might see me as a Patriot AND Monarch supporter soon...

My sis in on a full scholarship at JMU so we don't have to worry about her (except for the STD's ;))

Never surrender your allegiance. Even the thought of becoming a Patriot fan for and ODU kid should be considered treasonous. If you do transfer, you should just get the student tickets and show up in the student section with ODU paraphernalia.

No, your sister is fine. I had her tested before the weekend. It is tuesday though, I'm not sure what she has been up to since then....

I'm a really active Monarch Maniac member, so it'd hit me especially hard if I did end up transferring, plus I hate the Patriots. ODU's done so much for me that I'd have to join the Big Blue club, and I'll definitely be an ODU football supporter for life. It would be pretty funny to be dressed up in full colors as the random "ODU Guy" at a VCU/GMU game (I'll post a pic if that ever happens haha). Ok, this is a depressing topic now...can we make fun of VCU? That always makes me happy :D!!!

1. I'm Clean
2. She's not my type, I don't do white trash. You're not good enough to live in McLean, why don't you get out. :bad:
3. She probably already contracted one from a Sigma Chi gang bang, or that crazy night she had with her roommates.

My sister's five suitemates (they live in White Hall I think) are seriously the hottest group of girls living together I have ever witnessed. Diseased or not, I'd take any of 'em home with me if I had the chance. My sis' roommate is the sexiest of 'em all...long legs, long blonde hair, brown eyes, stacked. Only downside is that she's from Jersey.

I can honestly tell you that I am jealous of all JMU guys. I've visited a lot of schools on the east coast (plus Ball State and Missouri), and JMU, in a landslide, has the greatest collection of women I have ever laid my eyes upon, plus the best parties in VA. And for anyone out there who doubts that, you obviously haven't been to James Madison. I don't understand how you guys keep attracting hotties like that while retaining the school's academic integrity? It boggles the mind...

I must say something in support of my fellow DJ: the man is engaged and would not be fooling around with your sister. I as a single guy, however, that's a different story altogether.

And on transferring to Mason....no, no fucking way don't do it. After being accepted to a few grad schools I went up for my visit to Delaware and just looking around knew I'd be miserable the whole time I was there. You got one CAA you love, attending any other is going to burn worse than your sister's herpes.

And I am incredibly jealous of everybody who can still go to JMU, I don't know if there are any good looking girls out here in the west, but they sure as hell aren't here in Flagstaff. Hippie, "alternative" chicks, whatever that means

And smudge, that girl from Jersey - that's just bonus round right there :thumb:
