More comedy: The #19 team made the #14 team look like a Pop Warner squad last week.

This is a pretty lousy poll. Who votes in it anyway? I know it's a media poll, but can we get a list of them? And didn't that retard TT vote in it last year?

Sep 19 - W at Winston-Salem St, 16-10 OT
Sep 26 - W vs. Towson, 12-9
Oct 3 - W at Bethune-Cookman, 24-13
Oct 10 - W vs. NC A&T, 7-6
Oct 15 - W vs. Howard, 14-7

Average margin of victory of less than 1 TD over a group that is a combined 9-21 record.

Look beyond the record Jon. They have done absolutely nothing to deserve any sort of consideration for the Top 25.

Where is the Ivy League?

Interesting point, because people somehow think Colgate and Holy Cross are top 25 teams. So in doing so they are relying on Ivy League wins as quality wins. Yet no Ivy teams is anywhere close to the Top 25.

Danefan. I would not put them in my top 25. Just pointing out that they are at least more worthy than the rest of the highlighted teams. And a win is a win.

Umass is certainly getting a lot of love for their win. It was a very good win but, after what happened last week, I didn't think people would shoot them up over UD that quickly. I think SCST should be 11-15, not top 10 at this point and the ORV is just wierd.....

I realize we are in a different year but when I saw a middle of the road SoCon team dominate the eventual PL champion in '08, well my realization about the Patriot League was profound.

How does W&M move up in this poll two spots w/o even playing this weekend? I had them at #7 last week and left them there.

ODU should have 0 votes. Wins over DII Chowan and Virginia Union count for nothing, and losses to Monmouth and Fordham (6-6 combined), and wins against teams with a combined record of 4-14, is not impressive in the grand scheme of things.

And #14 just beat a Top 5 team.

I'd be more worried about why JMU is still receiving so many votes if I were a Delaware fan........didn't JMU just get shutout 27-0 by the team (Villanova) that just lost to the team (UNH) that just lost to the team (UMass) that Delaware just made "look like Pop Warner"?????

So you're really only concerned about the integrity of the poll/voters as it pertains to CAA teams?? :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

If JMU at 2 - 4 can get 216 votes, we can get 5 at 3 - 3 can't we? (no quality wins aside)

There's where it breaks down (and is kind of my point). The voters, whether we like it or not, have determined that Liberty is a Top 25 win for JMU. That's helping us out quite a bit I think.

Beat Sac St 49-10, and our reward is fall 1 spot in the polls from 15 to 16.

Next week look for Weber to beat UNC, then fall to #17 in the polls.

I would have been satisfied with staying at 15.
