    Most Surprising Result: Montana St. 31, South Dakota 24 (OT) - The score didn't shock me here, but the fact that MSU's statistically dominant run defense gave up 172 yards could be cause for concern.

Not sure how you can rate the Griz effort the "Best Performance", especially when you have several dominating performances by NAU and Weber.

Exactly. The Griz beat a pretty good team, Weber crunched a mediocre team, and NAU beat an average-at-best team that was missing their starting QB.

SLC Worst Performance was TXST Sure it was a win but it was fugly and we should have scored 4-5 more TDs easily. Had 1 called back on a holding and 1 fumbled in the EZ. Shut down their pass but couldn't stop the Triple Option nearly as well as we have in the past 2 years. Our D had no penalties until mid-4th and then they almost imploded again. It was really, really fugly.

Yes, that was a surprising total, the QB had 91 yds rushing. I'd also like to point out that MSU is the only FCS team and 1 of 3 in all of Div.I football to not allow a rushing TD so far this year.
