Well, It's homecoming weekend at UMass....I went last season...but this year has turned out to be fantastic...
Friday, the hockey season opened with UMass taking down the defending NCAA champs (and pre-season #2) Boston University Terriers 3 - 2 at the Mullen Center...
Then Saturday, the Minutemen Football team takes out UNH... 23 - 17...ruining the Wildcats chances at an undefeated season...
UHN has not won a game in Amherst since 2005...

Homecoming at Weber State.
Wildcats cruised to a 49-10 victory over Sacramento State.
Wildcat Wide Receiver Tim Toone finished with 8 catches for 154 receiving yards, had 109 punt return yards, and ammassed 260 all purpose yards, and 4 touchdowns.
With his first reception of the game, which was a 25 yard touchdown catch, Tim Toone became the first Wildcat to surpass the 3,000 yard receiving mark.
In the second Quarter Tim Toone, returned a punt 95 yards for a touchdown, which is now a Weber State AND Big Sky Conference Record.
Wildcat Quarterback Cameron Higgins completed 23-of-30 passes for 290 yards and FIVE touchdowns and no interceptions before being taken out at the start of the 4th quarter.
The Wildcats outscored the Hornets 28-7 in the second Quarter.
Its what homecoming is all about.

I did not see the UNH game...went to the Delaware match and have seen them on TV earlier in the season...
I think it was an aberration...but we'll find out this Saturday when we play Richmond...

I've seen UMass play twice this year (Albany and UNH). UNH was able to stay in this game because of the one man show Sicko put on. The 1st TD pass should have been an INT, but Sicko literally took the ball out of the DB's hands. Sicko accounted for 40% of the offensive yards for UNH. Take away that score and you have a much different ball game.
I didn't see the Delaware game, but based on the score I would be willing to bet it was just a bad week.
