FCS football!!! Wish I had started followin' it years ago ...

I don't even remember life "pre-Griz".

I remember watching two TV's on every sunday all day long to get ahead of my "professional sports book accountant". I always said there were way too many college teams to make any money. I-AA finally gave me an edge over his ass.

10 years, a degree, and a love for this level later, I don't want football any other way.

I love FCS football. It's unpredictability and the playoffs are so much more exciting than the semi-pro league. I am going to absolutely hate it if/when TXST goes FBS

(and I am one that thinks they are nowhere near ready to do so)

I'm with you fellas. I could not give a fuck about FBS, NFL, or any other football outside FCS. I would trade every win that any other team compiles that I kinda follow to take away a single Griz loss.

I just wish that my team would either win a title or be a shitter of a team.


I hate this bridesmaid shit. Being a fan of the "Cubs of the FCS" sucks some times

UNI is nowhere near the Cubs in terms of being a bridesmade. Keep blowing it for 60 or so more years, then you'll be there. I have confidence you can do it!
