probably at the Ralph watching the hockey game, rocking back and forth like the rest of the crowd uttering the oft-repeated refrain "we've got hockey, we've got hockey"ChetSteadman wrote:Where's DaveK?

I would keep that close to your heart and carry that with you wherever you go... you might even want to create a bumper sticker with that on it... I bet it would sell like crazy...
Thank you Gil... you cheer me up
Sioux Falls is NAIA. They beat Carroll College (aka Little Montana) last year for the title.dbackjon wrote:Way to get rolled by a D2 team
there is hockey in GF tonight - this game won't even make the sports page...JALMOND wrote:Sioux Falls is NAIA. They beat Carroll College (aka Little Montana) last year for the title.dbackjon wrote:Way to get rolled by a D2 team
Makes me wonder how many headlines will read, "The Sioux Fell".

nope. don't give a shit. they lost to an NAIA - and I don't care when it happens - it's always funny as shit.BisonBacker wrote:DJH wrote:NAIA? are you kidding me?
No he's not but before to many NDSU fans get all giddy about UND's failures let me remind you of a few unfortunate facts. Right now we (NDSU football) suck. We have a real chance of going 1-10. We have a horrible QB and a dipshat coach who can't find his arse with a paper bag. If we were having even a half assed season I'd be chuckling at UND's misfortunes but at this point we ought not be laughing at anyone when you look a the dismal team we are fielding right now.
NAIA teams are at the level of D2 in most cases and I watched that team play Carrol last year and they are a very good team. They are of course undersized to what your typical FCS team is but they had a very good offense. It would still be an embarrassing loss but I would bet that team would go .500 with the bottom 1/2 of FCS.DJH wrote:NAIA? are you kidding me?
Never thought I'd see a Helena native misspell that.Ursus A. Not a chance of that brother if we're talking about the team I watched last December. They are very good but they would fold to most of the top 1/2 of FCS.clenz wrote:USF is a damn good team. Right now they have 3 or 4 starters that were on the same team as me in high school. I had a schollarship offer from there, but wanted to be closer to TBH so I didn't take it, but sometimes I wonder.
USF would compete for a playoff spot in FCS I think.
