Good read. I think the NAU game will be closer, SFA will pull it out, JMU will lose, but great analysis

Will you be putting these in the weekly pick'em?

I still can't see how no one is raising hell about JMU being below .500 and is still ranked.

The Hofstra game is the only real mind boggler. Losing to the number one team and a FBS squad in OT isn't embarassing...

Still, when ASU was 1-2, people's panties were in a major wad that we were still ranked in the top-10. We lost to an FBS school and another top 15 FCS school but people wanted blood.

Yea, we only lost one game that we weren't supposed to and we were ranked no. 6 preseason, that's how it happens. Like I told somebody else: Don't worry, if we're not Top 25, we won't be there in a couple of weeks.

So you think that to be fair people should complain that we only dropped 10 spots for our loss to Hofstra and not out of the Top 25?

I'm just saying I haven't seen anything mentioned about it, but ASU caught shit. Double standard, I guess.

You need to quite listening to what AZ and DBJ have to say.

Actually, it was Jon's silence on this subject that got me wondering. He was the primary hell-raiser. Friggin' NAU bitch...still pissed we beat them a few years ago in Boone!

Yea, you guys are so persecuted. I feel sorry for you sometimes. BTW, Cal Poly is also 2-3 in the Top 25 and Weber is .500 and above us. I'm disenfranchised.

FWIW, I moved us out of the Top 25 when we lost to Hofstra and then back when we looked pretty good against Richmond. I think I have us at 23 or so.

Exactly.

Anyone saying we have a different standard hasn't been reading these boards the last couple weeks. AZ's been our biggest complainer saying we don't deserve to be ranked, and while I agree with it, there ain't no fucking double standard with us and App. McV's right, I don't hear any bitching about Cal Poly being ranked, just the Dukes. We were 1-1, a record most people predicted, but with an FBS OT loss that some people valued more highly than a loss in regulation.

Did you see my poll? I have been giving ASU grief as well. Actually haven't given JMU THAT much shit.

Oh, and when NAU lost to a much better FBS team, and lost in OT to a Top 3 team, we weren't ranked, either...
