That would be a small amount in the grand scheme. Who's gonna pay enough to offset the home game? If someone was willing to do so I think they would already be riding that horse. Nobody is gonna give us 800K to 1M to come play them.

Yeah, there will probably be more on the back end for the students, not the athletics or employees.... tuition hike, rise in student fees, a "special on time only $100" student fee (yeah, they just did that at UGA), etc.

I understand the money generated by home games at W-G.....I.E. never really necessitating an FBS game for Montana. But, given the general talent-level of your teams, I, for one, wouldn't mind seeing Montana play an FBS opponent.

Thing is, to make enough money to off-set a home game, you'd probably need to play someone pretty big......so

Not yet but once they see the outcry from FCS boards I am sure they will feel the pressure to change their ways.

No stimulus money...did they think that would last forever?? Montana gets Griz/Cat next year so I can see $60 for that game (it was $50 for homecoming this year) so that will help Main Hall make up some of their shortcomings....maybe the regents will wake up to Dennison's antics

One FBS game would be a small amount in the grand scheme, but a season full of FBS conference games and a bowl game once in a while would increase the annual take significantly.
