No, but I'd be shocked if they didn't go to that gravy train at least once in the next year to make up some of that number....hope I'm wrong.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:I didn't see anything mentioned about the Athletic dpt. there AZ?

That would be a small amount in the grand scheme. Who's gonna pay enough to offset the home game? If someone was willing to do so I think they would already be riding that horse. Nobody is gonna give us 800K to 1M to come play them.AZGrizFan wrote:No, but I'd be shocked if they didn't go to that gravy train at least once in the next year to make up some of that number....hope I'm wrong.Ursus A. They do every year and they will find a way to add a little extra taste for this cause I am sure.JMU DJ wrote:Increased ticket prices?AZGrizFan wrote:

Their game against Iowa in '06 was one of the very few times I was pulling for a Griz win.EWURanger wrote:I understand the money generated by home games at W-G.....I.E. never really necessitating an FBS game for Montana. But, given the general talent-level of your teams, I, for one, wouldn't mind seeing Montana play an FBS opponent.
Thing is, to make enough money to off-set a home game, you'd probably need to play someone pretty big......so
That was the Athletic Dpt. deficit. This is not.Cap'n Cat wrote:Man, didn't UM just get over a huge-ass deficit a few years ago?

I don't think USC plays FCS teams, though.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:If they pay we will be, just like every other team would be.mass fan wrote:Maybe they could be USCs bitch for a saturday?
Not yet but once they see the outcry from FCS boards I am sure they will feel the pressure to change their ways.Mvemjsunpx wrote:I don't think USC plays FCS teams, though.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote: If they pay we will be, just like every other team would be.

One FBS game would be a small amount in the grand scheme, but a season full of FBS conference games and a bowl game once in a while would increase the annual take significantly.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:That would be a small amount in the grand scheme....AZGrizFan wrote:

Weber fans just want us to move up so they can have a chance to win the conference some day.JMU DJ wrote:native wrote:
