Cap'n Cat Ranks The MVFC Message Boards

Cap'n Cat, CS social butterfly, frequents many FCS boards, but mostly in the MVFC. He ranks them, top to bottom:
1. Southern Illinois - salukitalk.net. Very active, engaged fans. Somewhat territorial and xenophobic, but, enjoyable.
2. Northern Iowa - panthernation.com. Much less active than salukitalk or Bisonville, but no a-hole, whiny posters. Common sense rules (except when I post) and people are respectful.
3. NDSU - Bisonville.com. HUGELY active board with so much going on, it's difficult to keep up. Bad year for the Bison, so the whiners, blamestormers and finger-pointers are out in full force. Nevertheless, most are knowledgeable and friendly.
4. SDSU - sdsufans.com. Moderately active, good people who are into their team. Highly knowledgeable fans who have bought into the FCS thing big. Could be more active.
On life support:
5. Missouri State - msubearnation. Decades of feeble football results make this rather a wasteland, but there is a small core of super fans who practice good cardiopulmonary resuscitation, now and then. More emphasis on basketball.
6. Youngstown State - ysupenguins.com. Somewhat active place that DOES NOT tolerate criticism of the Penguins or outsiders. Do it and you're banned, as I am at this moment. "Glory Days" should be playing in the background. Living off the past.
7. Illinois State - redbirdfans.com. Where football posting goes to die. Basketball school. As with MSU, years of tepid football have left it a virtual desert. Slow, plodding posting. Nothing interesting ever happens, kinda like with their FB team. Like smoking pipes with "the boys" at your great-grandfather's "lodge".
8. Western Illinois - ???? See above.
8. Indiana State - sycamorehoops.com. The name says it all. Still talk about Larry Bird in every other thread. Much (justified) whining about football, almost zero posting about it.
