CCU vs Liberty

I think Coastal can pull out a win. Last year they failed to observe the field and allowed a WR to rock the field. Bennett never attempted to shut him down. I think he has learned and if we can score first and play both sides of the ball, we have a great chance.
That is my uniformed opinion.

Right now, CCU is #1 in the conference with a Conf. record of 1-0, 3-2 overall. I hope we can hold on. I would love to see us win and get some good wins in before we go to Death Valley on the 28th.

I don't think Liberty will have any problem winning this game, they are at home and have had an extra week to prepare. Their offense seems much more dynamic and versatile than CCU's too... CCU is also 0-2 on the road this season, one loss to an FBS team... the second loss, to Towson.

All depends if CCU can shut down LU's running game. If we can make them one-dimensional we will have a chance.

Liberty wins 58-13, including scoring 42 points in 14:44. LU's 3rd string offense scored on Coastal's 1st string defense. LU punted once the entire game, and I think Coastal's kick returner had more yards than their entire offense, so LU needs some work on special teams.
