It didn't say that though, or next game for that matter. I'm guessing there is no appeal process for the NCAA?dbackjon wrote:For SDSU game.
that's a heavy dose of bullshit coming out of the valley offices.FCS Update wrote:From a contact within the Valley offices, they felt like Paschall pulled Fort with him as much as Fort pushed him out. The only evidence they saw of a punch was by Paschall. I will try to get an official comment.

the valley gonna look in to the UNI quarterback giving NDSU fans the "double deuce" up and down the sidelines?

Probably not if he didn't swing. Losing your cool in a game is not going to help you compete for the league crown, this is the MVC, not that other league you were in. And you better get used to getting hosed by the refs in the dome, it happens to us all. Refs are scared shitless of dome crowds.
here's the thing... i watched the play... i watched the whole game... i stand by what i said... the UNI players displayed a total lack of class - and all i'm asking for is even enforcement - if paschall is going to get suspended, then so should the two uni players who swung should too. my problem is with the provocation from forte... their "conclusion" that forte wasn't trying to drive him in to the wall is galling...Cap'n Cat wrote:TwinTownBisonFan wrote:

Man, TT, I thought you were kind of a reasonable guy who could contain his emotions. Turns out you're kinda like some of those idiots at Bisonville. Calm the fvck down. The League looked at it very carefully and, if they thought here was a need to come down on the UNI guy, they woulda.
You and some of your Herd friends are very frustrated at your poor introduction to our lovely conference, but there is no need to be a khundt about this stuff.

it just seems like a very one-sided conclusion... suspend the best player on a pretty bad NDSU team, but no punishment for the player who provoked it, or the quarterback at flipped off the ndsu fans, or the two uni players who jumped in throwing punches on the sidelines...

I'm thinking NDSU is strongest at RB, and that Paschall being out won't have as big of impact as the skill and experience of the Bunnies.Mvemjsunpx wrote:This is a huge suspension, given that Paschall has basically been the entire Bison team this year.
what "conspiracy theory"? i dont think it's malice toward NDSU... i think it's stupidity by the conference.JayJ79 wrote:ah yes, extending a finger or two to gesture at people a few yards away has all sorts of injury-causing potential. Almost as much as making this gesture:![]()
But hey, go ahead and keep up your conspiracy theories. They're quite amusing.
(personally, I'm pegging Pat Grace as the gunman on the grassy knoll in Dallas)
one t-shirt got thrown... and UNI bench started bitching to the refs for a 15 yard flag...Cap'n Cat wrote:TwinTownBisonFan wrote:

...or the assholes in the stands who kept throwing shit on the field.... Come on.
Man, TT, you're outa control and will be apologizing tomorrow, no doubt.
More misinformation from TTBF....it was a penalty flag, not a tshirt...TwinTownBisonFan wrote:one t-shirt got thrown... and UNI bench started bitching to the refs for a 15 yard flag...Cap'n Cat wrote:

Cappy might want to rethink the Conk/Donk conspiracy thing all over again.Cap'n Cat wrote:TwinTownBisonFan wrote:

not that it really matters. if fans throw anything on the field, the refs give a warning for the first instance, and call a penalty if it continues to occur. (perhaps unless it is something really bad, or something is thrown directly at players or officials. then I'm guessing they might flag the first instance, I dunno)pantherrob82 wrote:More misinformation from TTBF....it was a penalty flag, not a tshirt...
