Central Arkansas Question

I'm finishing up my poll right now and just looked at the stats for Central Arkansas. I don't get how they're ranked 8,9,and 10 in the other polls? I know I'm new to this FCS thing, but they have one win against Northwestern State (0-5, #197 Sagarin), one win against Western Kentucky (also 0-5 but DI-A, #166 Sagarin), and two DII wins (who are 3-10 combined). Their only loss is against Hawaii (2-3, #109 Sagarin), but definitely not against a Hawaii team of years past. Is a 28-7 win against W. Kentucky that big? I mean, to put it in perspective, W. Kentucky is rated last out of all DI-A teams. Top 10 team? Yes or No?

Many top teams have yet to face their toughest challenges yet we still rank them high. When doing a poll some people may base it solely on where a team is right now while others may do it on where they expect a team to be at seasons end based on the information they have right now and others may use a combination of both.

Should Central Arkansas be punished for not yet facing their toughest challenges?

In 5 games, Central Arkansas' defense has allowed 6 total touchdowns, and that includes two games against FBS opponents. A high ranking is deserved.

It is ok to rank high as long as you don't get stuck keeping them if not warrantd by on the field results

Plus they benefit a little bit from not losing when others ahead of them have. If I remember right I have them in the 10, 11 range right now.
