Colgate and SC State way too high.

And Holy Cross shouldn't be ranked at all.

And the OVR category - man that's a mess.

The TSN is a joke, but not because they don't have you in it. NAU deserves to be in the Top25, but not by a whole lot.

The two or three people who keep saying this or that poll is a joke seem to be the ones who's team is just outside the Top 25. 8-)

Agreed on NAU, but to have JMU at 16 is ridiculous. We are behind Towson in the South, with a losing record, no way should we be that high.

That's why I'm thinking this is a joke

TSN really is starting to suck.

After one week of the CS poll I'm already liking it better.

The TSN had an 0-4 team in the middle of all the teams with votes. uh k

Colgate too high...
Florida A&M? How good are they
Delaware too low.

Should EKU & Holy Cross even be ranked still?
I'd rather see NAU in there and Furman.
SUU should be ranked or close to if if they win at Cal Poly on Sat.

I like Jacksonville State at #12. They're a hot team moving up each week.

UC-Davis with 36 votes I'm not sure I'm sold on them almost being ranked. They have 2 wins, SD in OT and a DII.

I also think Nova should still be a top 5 team.

Agree with the above, although, Morgan St receiving votes is not that out of line.

Man, I hate to see ODU in the OVR section. They obviously are looking at 4-2 and not at ODU's stats. We may be 4-2, but two of those 4 were DII and the other two were teams that most FCS team would blow through like tissue paper.

Hey TSN, give us a few years and we'll earn our way onto the polls, but for now leave us alone and let us develop the program.

Take a look at their results:

No way should anyone consider Morgan St. a top 25 team.

Have to agree there. Morgan State is one of the biggest enigmas I've ever seen. They've been outgained by an incredible 137 ypg (327-190), yet they are somehow 4-1. They've also been outscored by 4 points-per-game. They even have a minus-3 turnover margin.

How the hell does a team get outgained considerably and lose turnovers half the time, yet still end up 4-0 against FCS?

Morgan St. FCS Schedule

  • vs. WSSU (in E. Rutherford, NJ) - outgained 250-199, even on turnovers; won 16-10 in OT.

vs. Towson - outgained 344-161, +2 on turnovers; won 12-9.

    @ Bethune-Cookman - outgained 343-237, +1 on turnovers; won 24-13.

    vs. North Carolina A&T - outgained 263-224, -4 on turnovers; won 7-6.
