Big game for both teams. Pretty much decides Cal Polys playoff fate and could give the Griz much needed credibility to their so far weak schedule. A game that will show how good each team is so far. Advantage Griz for at home and that ridiculous weather.

Montana has played two tough games already.

NAU is not quite tough, though a good game. UC Davis is ok.

An amazing example of how defense wins football games...

The Griz had 5 TURNOVERS..!!!

5

and still managed to control the game in the 4th quarter and win... (amazing)

Of all the Griz games I've seen, the 1st Quarter, and a big part of the 2nd were the absolute worst I've ever seen them play!

But we did get the job done against a very tough Cal Poly team...no matter how ugly parts of the game were.

FWIW, and for those that care...it was also the coldest that I've ever been at a Griz game, including the night, home playoff games.

After watching this game i am very excited for this week when we travel to Cal Poly, the Mustangs seemed to give up a big play every time i turned around, should be a good game :thumb:

I'd worry about stopping that run... Cal Poly controls the clock well

The Griz continue to finish a team off....but still aren't getting it started. I hope they figure it out. ALOT OF MISTAKES THAT I JUST SHOOK MY HEAD AT

Also wanted to point out, that after looking at the stats, it is amazing how similar it looks like the teams played on paper. Only difference was passing.

...............................CP.......UM
Total offense plays.........67........65
NET YARDS RUSHING.....164.........175
Rushing Attempts.......47............38
Yards Gained Rushing...177..........178
Even Punting was similar. :p

TURNOVERS in this game was out of the ordinary for the Griz from last year, and could be the turning point that keeps other teams on our rear ends the whole game!

Cal Poly's QB apparently caught a helmet to the thigh and was/isn't 100% for the second half. Their coach was saying how hard it is to run a triple option with one option taken away.

And when you've got a QB who obviously can't pass well (so that option is gone), and now he can't run, that pretty much limits your options.
