Because there is plenty of room for 2 FCS Boards. For one, many of the members here were upset over the moderators and the admin Ralph over at AGS and how they began to go overboard banning and warning people. We won't watch or track you and your posts; we won't ban you unless you threaten someone or really go overboard. I was a long time poster on AGS and that was a originally a great site.. outstanding I-AA football talk.. free expression.. both serious and funny posters and some great pictures.. but something or someone recently changed. Additional moderators were added.. goofy reputation points were awarded and the rules relative to posting suddenly changed. What use to be acceptable was no longer tolerated. Warnings and suspensions were commonplace. While X-Rated pictures were once accepatable on an 'adult' board.. now the posting of a picture of a bikini type clad girl can result in a warning. Debate between members was stifled.. what was once acceptable banter.. may now be considered 'offfensive' and a 'personal attack'. Political correctness now seems to be more important than free expression over there and many AGS posters were looking for an alternative FCS site. I left back in April and I was not going to return unless the over moderation was reduced. Thankfully that is no longer an issue.. as I plan to do all my I-AA/FCS football posting right here.DetroitFlyer wrote:Just curious as to the reason(s) for the new board.
