Two words: premature ejaculation. I know gray flannel and homoerotic southern military colleges get you hard, T, but do try to keep your sexual dysfunctions and your football postings separate

If only we could play Ball State and Towson, ASU would be 4-0. ;)

Probably should have waited till after the game to make this thread.

And, yeah, if they lost I would have dropped them out of top 25.

Lots of top quality teams having tough games against the un-ranked this year...

:ugeek: very interesting

If The Citadel goes on to lose all of the rest of its games, then yes, ASU should have dropped out of the poll for losing today. But then, ASU didn't lose.

If The Citadel goes on to win out in the SoCon and goes deep into the playoffs, then ASU shouldn't have been affected by today's game, no matter tha outcome.

Am I the only person who sees how dumb and ridiculuous questions about ASU's ranking are?

FYI- We have a good team this year. We just aren't crowing about it very much right now.

My question had nothing to do with how bad or good Citadel might be... The question was about whether a 1-3 Appalachian State team would have fallen from the rankings....

Yeah, and I think that would have been legit. I think we're one of the 25 best teams in the country... but, I don't think a 1-3 record would have earned it.

But, again... we won... moot point.

Citdog won't blame a jinx.

He and I both know that that game was ours to lose with 4 minutes left in the game, and we lost it. ASU found a way to gut out a win in a difficult venue.

We got lucky with the Citadel FG miss - fortunately we were able to hold you guys in OT and our girl scout kicker was able to punch one in. I had about 11 heart attacks today -fortunately I had enough booze in me to kickstart my heart when necessary.

Cid1990 your opinion of us throwing the ball and scoring instead of just running the ball and setting up a field goal with vey litte if any time left please.

I saw the score. The whole Confederacy saw the score and had TWO collective thoughts...

1. CHAMPIONSHIP TEAMS FIND A WAY TO WIN THOSE TYPE OF CONTESTS.

2. THOSE CADETS PLAYED THEIR GUTS OUT AND ARE ONE HELL OF A FOOTBALL TEAM.

Correct on both counts.

ASU is barley in my top 25 right now. They aren't playing like a top 15 team...so they aren't there in my poll

Had I done that before I did my poll ASU would have gone from 25 to out.

You mean the last drive in regulation, or our OT 'strategy'?

I am really looking forward to ASU sending some teams home in December. I am hoping we can assist them in that worthy cause.
