In his 11th season with the Western Illinois football program, head coach Don Patterson has announced he will step down from his head coaching role due to personal health concerns, Friday, Sept. 25th.

Keep Coach Patterson in your prayers.

I hope he is stepping down due to fatigue, and not because of more cancer.

that sucks... the Leatherneck program was on the rise... hopefully this doesn't stall their momentum... but more importantly hoping for the best for Coach Patterson

(as a total aside, anyone know where we could recruit some WIU posters? we could use a few)
