Delaware W&M. BIG game for the hens, and also as a CAA South (aka the best 5 teams in the country) game, it is sure to be the best thing this weekend.

UNI @ Missouri State

-Is UNI really that good?
-Is MSU really turning it around?

I think this one will be a lot closer than the 'experts' think. Playing in Springfield is never easy, and I am of the belief they will get a halfway decent crowd out for this one....

Gotta be UD v W&M, both teams off to great starts. I don't know who this is a bigger game for, UD makes a statement that says they're back or W&M shows that they are as good as they thought they were.


I feel the JMU v Liberty game is a must win for both teams... I think it's a bigger game for LU , it's going to be a tough game. Mickey has been quoted saying that this is the "Game of the Century" for Liberty. Also, according to the Mick, our offensive blocking schemes need to work for the run game otherwise LU will beat us... I'm still trying to figure out who's starting for the Flames this Saturday, Beecher or Brown? Beecher played well against WVU (had a TD in garbage time though) and Brown played well against a Lafayette team though the team seemed to struggle to put them away.


... but yeah, UD v W&M is the game of the week

UD/Bill and Mary gets my vote - UD played Richmond very tight and it's a test for W&M

The homer vote for #2 is obvious - I would feel much better marching into Chucktown next week with a 1-2 record.

Excent choice and even better questions that need to be answered on each team. If MSU is really turning around they need to play withing 14 of UNI. However, if UNI is as good as they seem look for a BIG win.


Terry Allen seems to be getting the short end of this deal


Sidenote, Mark Farley passed Terry Allen on the all time UNI wins list for coaching.

I went with JMU/Liberty. After all the Flames whining since last Thanksgiving, it's put up or shut up.

Finally getting to some big games this weekend. We'll find out where a lot of these teams stand.

I voted based on that pathetic selection of games. The REAL game of the week is Eastern Washington getting beat by Sac State.

If I took my black and gold glasses off, I'd vote UD vs. WM.

But I didn't, and this week will tell a lot about what kind of team we really have.

Had to go with the Homer response as well. Considering the questions surrounding the App St defense, this game has big implications for rest of FCS as well. If the defense responds to the challenge (lop-sided AppSt win), then this could set the tone for the rest of the season. If they don't (App loss or close win in a shootout), it could foreshadow a shift in the recent power structure oof both the SoCon & FCS. Be interesting....

William&Mary/Delaware - probably the best matchup of two quality teams. This game should tell us more about WM legitimate chances, and well as how much Delaware has improved this year.

Liberty/JMU - Must win for Liberty to have any shot at an at large berth into the playoffs this year.
