JMU's Caussin Comes Back Strong

Really good story about JMU senior TE Mike Caussin, who is having a good year so far...and the trials he's been through including injury, and getting kicked of=out of school and returning a stronger person...
http://www.dailynews-record.com/sports_ ... 989&CHID=3As a sophomore, Caussin caught 18 passes for 279 yards in 10 games, scoring three touchdowns. While his numbers from his junior year were similar - 18 catches for 239 yards and five scores in 14 games - both he and JMU coach Mickey Matthews called it a "disappointing season."
Part of the reason may have been that Caussin wasn't in school and didn't get to participate in spring practice after his sophomore season. Tuesday, Caussin said he was "kicked out for a semester" but declined to say why.
Matthews said Caussin was out of school for "personal reasons."
Caussin, a Springfield native, stayed in Harrisonburg that spring, living in his apartment and working 40 hours or more weekly at an area beer distributor. He said it was tough seeing his roommate, former JMU defensive end J.D. Skolnitsky, going to spring football practice every day while Caussin headed in for his eight-hour shifts.
After work, he'd head to Bridgeforth Stadium to lift and run on his own, determined to stay in shape, demonstrate his commitment to the program and earn his way back on the team.
