Don't know who called for a PSU upset. I had posted UM 38, PSU 34. and people thought that score was too high. Most scores I saw had the Griz winning. Did I miss something?GRIZ MOBSTER wrote:All these people were calling an upset by PSU over Montana. Nice try guys.....UM-49 PSU-17.

Good victimology....the thread asked which upset, if it happened, would be the bigger one...GRIZ MOBSTER wrote:Trust me I'm only talking about today there is still a long road ahead. Jalmod check the upset thread to see what I mean.
Ummmmm, check my predictions, of which I am still perfect, btw.GRIZ MOBSTER wrote:Trust me I'm only talking about today there is still a long road ahead. Jalmod check the upset thread to see what I mean.
Don't give me that east coast b.s., I've been following the Big Sky for at least a year or two (or since 1976). I took the opportunity to refrain once from my objectivity and be a fan of my Portland State team. Being that you are too lazy to check it, my prediction was UM 38, PSU 34.GRIZ MOBSTER wrote:The upset thread i read asked for an upset this week and most people picked PSU over UM. And my point remains that it was a terrible prediction. Especially since our home conference record since 1995 is 51-3. But maybe that gets lost on the east coast.

God, what is with all these sore Griz winners. WTF!!!
I'll have to go check the thread again but I read it as Col. Hogan saw it. People thought that this would be a big upset if were to occur, whick means they were actually of the mind that we should win.GRIZ MOBSTER wrote:The upset thread i read asked for an upset this week and most people picked PSU over UM. That was their pick for most likely upset. Many of the posters there in their actual picks had UM over PSU....read more threads before you spout off please.GRIZ MOBSTER wrote:The upset thread i read asked for an upset this week and most people picked PSU over UM. Sorry, was dealing with it on both sites. I've since cooled off some and did the post game analysis on both sites. All is better with me now.AZGrizFan wrote:JALMOND wrote:

Portland State over Montana. I was tempted to pick PSU in my weekly BSC picks this week. PSU has the firepower, and Montana doesn't have much of an offense. It's all going to hinge on how well PSU's defense plays, because as good as Montana's is, PSU will put up points. I think it's the most likely "upset."

Not sure it can be labeled an upset, but like a few others, I'm pickin' the Vikings over the Griz...

Dude we were worried about you being way too sensitive. I know how hard it is for other teams to win there as I've never missed a game in that stadium but if you have to pick an upset then by definition you are picking a team that you don't think can win but has the most ability to pull off what you don't think can happen. You're new here and we don't understand if it is a sense of humor that you are displaying or not and it seemed a little overzealous so we were just trying to say "don't take it personally." It ain't meant that way.GRIZ MOBSTER wrote:by Screamin_Eagle174 » Fri Sep 18, 2009 1:45 pm

I'm not a sore winner at all just making the point that upsets in Wash Griz stadium during conference play just don't happen. If we were playing on the road that's one thing, but we were playing at home and to lose to an unranked conference foe is unheard of. The key word is unranked, eventhough Weber st has not won in Missoula since 1986 they have their best shot ever this year with a talented squad and if they win I would not consider it much of an upset. Some of you are way too sensitive. It's just a fan forum board relax a little, take some prozac, have a beer, make fun of the Boobcats, tell a joke about people from Arkansas, whatever works for ya!!
He doesn't get that when my thread was made I was asking for the most likely upset. Not who would win, but the teams most likely to pull the upset.Ursus A. Why don't you two just get a room and get it over with?GRIZ MOBSTER wrote:Whoa there Jalmond nothing in my original post was directed at you. You did not predict an upset like others had. So why are you taking things so personal? You need to relax stop posting childish remarks and continue to post the good informational posts that I enjoy reading.
