Looks like this game has been a defensive struggle.

Devlin has 120 yards passing and Delaware has only 153 yards of total offense......most of that coming on a short drive to end the half.

Delaware State is running the ball pretty well with 83 yards.......but they have NO passing game with only 28 yards through the air.

DSU had a 2 yard punt with 29 seconds left but time runs out on Delaware at the 1 yard line .......Delaware 7 Delaware State 3 at halftime.

If Delware loses this game, things are going to melt down over there.

I tried watching the video feed but was only getting audio.

DSU drove deep into Delaware territory only to throw an INT at the Delaware 7.......still Delaware 7 DSU 3.......7:56 left in the 3Q.

DSU self-destructing with penalties and Devlin heating up.......Delaware 14 DSU 3.......1:26 left in 3Q

I got to watch some of the game on local TV. The critical moment occured late in the 3rd quarter with UD up 7-3. DSU went for in on 4th while in UD territory and appeared to get it (at least to me), but they didn't get a good spot and the ball went over on downs. UD drives 71 yards in 3 plays goes up 14-3.

Sounds like it was a good game for 3 quarters. Will this game become a rivalry?

This is not a game that UD fans will not want to hang their hat on, but a win is a win........much like Maine's win at NU, no?

Sounds like State can compete with UD.

This UD team has very little talent on the OL and the imagination of a coma patient when it comes to offensive schemes.

There were some calls that didn't go UD's way too. Keeler was on the refs for a while as the 3rd quarter ended, to the point where the TV guys were saying he should let it go and coach his team. But I still think DSU had a first down on the play I described earlier.

Yeah - DSU had that 1st down easily - too bad they don't have replay at this level. And KC does need to tone it down, although that was criminal the way the refs called UD for the personal foul after not blowing the play dead on the kickoff...

UD will only go as far as Devlin, and their play calling, takes them. Solid D, sketchy O...

I listened to the game on the DSU radio station, and the Hornet broadcasters thought the guy's knee was down before the ball passed the first down marker.
