I am hoping Roper finally finds his footing and Chase becomes a little less assertive and hides behind his blockers more like he did last year. I feel he may be over-confident and a little too giddy.

Kickoff scheduled for 1 pm MDT, noon in Portland. Only five players are on this current Viking team that were on the team two years ago when they last played in Missoula, including Hubel who will start at QB for the Vikings. Woods suffered a slight ankle sprain on a freak injury during practice on Tuesday but is expected to start. Portland State has not won in Missoula since 1985. Weather should be good at the start of the game with an increasing chance of showers as the game goes on, with temps near 80. This is the third game for both and the conference opener for both teams.

The game will be on 800 KPDQ in the Portland area. It will also be shown on TV live on Comcast-Portland.

Get to watch the game on Comcast Sports Northwest up in the Seattle area (ch 179 - Kirkland Comcast).
