I think for Hofstra to have a chance in this game, they'll need to play to their potential and more importantly, we'll need the Spiders to come out and still have a little UD hangover. With this being the first home game since winning the NC, the players and fans should be fired up.

UR's running game was not impressive vs UD.. but the Hens stuck with a four man rush most of the game and as a result they seldom pressured Ward in the pocket. I couldn't understand why they were so conservative when UR had no running game.. as a result Ward was able to do enough in the passing game to bring the Spiders back and as we all know.. UD blew the chance to win in the final seconds. Hopefully it will be good game.. but it's still too early in the season to know what to expect from anyone.

I know what to expect from our coaches, to play the 3rd best QB as our starter and to continue to employ a second rate offensive coordinator who doesn't have an ounce of creativity or understanding in how to put a gameplan together.

Richmond did come out firing! The Spiders won 47-0! I just hope they do not overlook the Keydets of VMI next week. The UR/VMI rivalry is an old one and often you can, as is often the case, throw out the records and scores, when old rivals meet! :thumb: Go Spiders!
