Would you like to have a weekly pick'em contest where I put 5 games up for you all to pick from, and then you pick an upset special for the 6th game. If you pick one of the games I put out correctly you get 1 point, and your upset special, I'd say the team has to be at least a 10 pt dog, is right you get 3 points.


I got the idea from the Fox NFL pregame show, but wanted to do it here. I thought it would be a great way to get everyone involved, and it would be something cool I could contribute to the board. I know 2 weeks are gone, and week 3 is out but starting in week 4.



I would even send the winner a UNI t-shirt or something.

I have the poll up for 7 days, however, in order to get the pick'em up early enough for everyone to think about it next week, if the poll is a resounding yes by Tuesday or Wendnesday I'll put it up on Thursday

DBACK, you want me to put one together for this week too? I'd be glad to pull 5 games for tomorrow. I won't make this like UNI/St. Francis or anything like that. I'll try to make them good match ups.

Pick all 5. I may bump it up to 10 games PLUS an upset of your choosing.


So up to 13 points per week if I do 10 games or 8 points if I do 5 games.

and team Z to beat team M even though M was favored by at least 10

I'm not sure what I'll send the winner. It doesn't have to be a UNI shirt. However, Bobby Dammit, if you win you get a purple UNI shirt that on the back says "Bob Dammit"

Also, I am open to taking suggestions for games to watch that may be "under the radar". Rivalry games, games that are always close regardless the team skill level, etc... that I might not read about as a "big game" for the week. I don't want to use the same top 25 teams every week.
